Thanks everyone.  It still hasn't really sunk in yet.  Don't know when it will.  We are just so busy that I guess that is part of it.

Here is a quick collage of the pics that we have chosen for John's service.  I don't know if we will use all of them but these are what we have.  The others have some too.  I know that it is a little hard to see but I didn't want to get it too big.



Tomorrow we get the service set up and tend to some business.  It is going to be a long day.  Kirby and I didn't sleep well last night so that isn't helping.  I was awake at 1 making lists in my head.

Supper tonight is steak, left over fried rice, fruit, asparagus and cookie that a neighbor brought over for dessert.

My FIL passed away this morning.  He was in the corral roping and had a massive heart attack. They did CPR for an hour before the paramedic got there.  They only had a pulse when they were doing compressions.  When the paramedic got there they hooked him up to the machines and said there was nothing they could do he was gone.

Good Morning!  Sitting and having a glass of ice tea before I start my cooking.  I have cinnamon rolls, my deseerts Spniach dip and a few other things to dao.  Kirby is off branding today so it is just me and the kids.

Spinsky, I will try to get the recipe up sometime this weekend.  I thought it was on my recipe site but it isn't.

Isn't kitty life tough.  I don't know whether I should sleep in my bed or the floor.  Oh well, good night!  LOL



Well, oiff to get busy.  Supper tonight is fend for yourself.  There is left over fried rice and leftovers in the fridge.

Good Morning!  I know i disappeared again.  I have been so miserable with my allergies that I just haven't felt like doing much.  I am feeling better now so I hope to get back in the swing of posting.

I am starting on another afghan and then will make some Snoopy burp rags to go with it.  It needs to be done by the end of June.  ACK!

I am going to start my cooking for branding.  Today I will do the cookies and Spinach dip and take the pound cake out of the freezer.  then tomorrow it will be the cinnamon rolls, cheesecake, Cherry almoand pie, an dinner rolls.  I cheat on the dinner rolls and make then in the bread machine.  I know I am getting lazy!  LOL

Dang shift key won't work right I keep having to go back and fix things!

Supper tonight is beer butt chicken as long as the wind isn't blowing too hard.  If it it I don't know what I will do.  Guess I will fake it.  LOL

Good Morning.  It was beautiful yesterday.  Today the wind is blowing and it is chilly.  Spring in MT.  LOL

Not much going on here.  I have been battling allergies and a sinus headache so haven't been doing much.  Try to finish the baby blanket so i can move on to the burp rags.  I want to get them sent.

The guys are moving the pairs out and it looks like we will be doing our little branding on the 27th.

Supper tonight is tacos.

Good Morning!  It was nice when we got up this morning but now the window is blowing and there is a pretty good chance of rain.  Kyra went riding with the guys so I hope that it waits until they get home.

I change what baby blanket I am making.  I change it to a looser weave one that won't be quite so warm.  The gal lives in Arizona so the other one would have been way too heavy.  I will finish the other one so I have it.  Oh and I change the color from yellow to pink.

Pooh called me yesterday after school and says can I go for ice cream with Erin.  Her best friend.  I said leave Hardin at this time.  She made it home and all was well.  Now they want to go to billings to go shopping in two weeks.  I told her that as far as I know now they can but there might be a branding come up before the date gets here.

Not much else going on.  Kohl has a dentist appointment tomorrow.  He is not happy.  he hates the dentist.

Our electricity is going to be out for two hours this afternoon.  This means Kohl won't be happy.  He just doesn't like the idea of the fans not running and no light on.  I will also need to give him his bath early.  That he won't mind.  LOL

Supper tonight is BBQ Hamburgers or leftover white sauce lasagna.  I will let people pick.  We had a lot leftover but I don't like it so I will cook tonight.  With that we will have baked taters, fruit, veggie and something for dessert.

Good Morning!  Pooh drove to school this morning.  I know it is good practice for her but I worry about her the whole time she is gone.

Busy week this week.  Kohl has a dentist appointment on Wednesday, Thursday therapy, Friday Pooh has Band festival so I will be going to Hardin late to pick her up and then Saturday we are off to Kirby's uncle's old place in Hardin to go through stuff to get it to the auction house.  Sunday I have got to get cinnamon rolls made and frozen.  I am tired just looking at it.

Not a lot going on.  School is rolling and I need to get the sauce made for White Sauce Lasagna for supper and pick up and vacuum.

It might actually be nice today.  All i want is the wind not to blow!

Good Morning!  Thanks all about the Zyrtec info.  Kirby has been trying to get me to try it but I am concerned about the warning it may make you drowsy.  I really have trouble with that and as my as I play chauffeur I can't have that happening.  Does it make you sleepy and if it does do you get over it eventually?

Not much going on here.  I am starting a baby afghan for a surprise baby.  And when I say surprise she didn't find out until she had preterm labor.  I know I won't get it done before the baby is born but I need to be working on it.  I managed to cast the wrong number of stitches on so i had to start over.

i forgot to tell you all a Rowdy story.  Last week when I would go out to the mudroom a cat would cry.  I knew it was Rowdy but he would quit crying after I said his name a couple of times so I figured he was playing.  Finally I realized that I hadn't seen him.  So we started looking.  the crazy kitten was stuck behind the freezer.  Kirby pulled the freezer away from the door so he could get out.  Boy was he mad.  He sure told us off!  He also hasn't crawled back up on those cupboard that he fell off of either!

Supper tonight is roast on the BBQ, taters of some sort, the asparagus that didn't get cooked last night, fruit, and the rest of the pineapple upside down cake for dessert.

Good Morning.  Been keeping busy this morning.  Gotup, got Kirby fed, threw some laundry in, got the dishwasher going,
went for my walk, had breakfast, played with Kohl a while, roasted 2
batches of coffee, unloaded dishwasher and started loading again, got
the cedar plank in to soak for supper and picked up in the kitchen. I
am now on a break and will get busy after I get everyone fed lunch.   I need to figure out what the kids are having and get some cookies made.  I know there is more that I will do but don't know if I will!  LOL

We were supposed to get rain and snow but I think it has missed us.  Kirby is bummed.  He is awful quiet.  The wind is starting to blow now so who knows what will happen.

I had to break down and start taking Claritin.  My eyes wee itching so bad all I was doing was scratching them.  Now I am tired.  I am always tired when I start taking it.  I know it says non drowsy but I get tired.  Don't know if I really do or if it is in my head!  LOL

The guys are starting to take the cows out.  Feeding is about done for another year.  I can't believe that is April already.  The year is going so fast!

Supper tonight is Cedar planked Halibut, asparagus, pasta, fruit, and something for dessert.
