Good Morning!  Not much going on here.  Kyra went riding with Kirby so Kohl and I hanging out and doing school.  I promised him I could watch Wonder Pets and then we will get busy.  After our work is done we will make some cookies.
Kohl did pretty well yesterday.  He was very deliberate in not opening his mouth and talking for her though.  He was mad and he let her know it.

We were planning to do yard work tomorrow but now they are calling for rain and snow.  About right.  Kirby will be happy if it happens but tells me it doesn't know how to rain!  LOL

I got a shepherd's crook with two holders on  it and then I ordered 2 of the topsy tury tomato platers to see how they work.  I figured it would be a fun thing to do with the kids.  I don't know when I will get started but will let you know.

Supper tonight is Fake Steak, mashed taters, asparagus, fruit and something for dessert.

Good Morning!  Looks like it will be nice here today.  It will be nice no matter what if the darn wind will stay away.

Off to Billings tomorrow for therapy and a little bit of first of the month.  It will be interesting to see what Kohl does.  we haven't seen the therapist for a while and he is unhappy with her.  He could give her a run for her money!

Not a whole lot else going on.  I need to do laundry, clean the kitchen and something else that escapes me at the moment.

Supper tonight is Tortilla Lasagna.

Good morning.  It is snowing off on and on this morning. Could have up to 5 inches today and then back up to 40 tomorrow.  Got to love spring in MT.  LOL

Three heifers left.  They are going to be a while in calving though.  I told Kirby he needed to go out with his pom pom and do a cheer so they would calve.  he didn't think I was very funny.

Didn't walk today.  I just knew that I was going to end up in a snow storm.  I know I am a wimp.  LOL

Supper tonight is BBQ Hamburgers, a clone of the KFC cole slaw, asparagus, fruit, and strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Good Morning!  We survived the trip to Billings.  I couldn't believe how windy it was.  It felt like we were going to get blown away when we were putting the stuff from Costco in the truck.   We got it done and all put away.  We are set for another month.  Well all but the fresh stuff.

I need to start thinking about branding lunches.  I think I have the small one basically figured out.  How does this sound?

• Roast Beef
• Chicken Wings
• Au Gratin taters
• Asparagus, if we kind find some.  if not corn
• homemade dinner rolls with butter and honey
  
• Spinach Dip with Wheat thins
• and something I am forgetting.  When I remember I will put it here.

Then for snack I wll have cookies of some sort, Blueberry Pound Cake, and cinnamon Rolls.  And then coffee, soda, Gatorade and water to drink.

Then for dessert I am going to make an Easy Oreo cheesecake and Cherry Almond pie.

I am figuring I am cooking for 15 people.  I know it isn't that many but I like to make sure I have enough.

Then I will worry about the big branding.  I have a couple of recipes that i want to try for something different.

Not much going on here.  I am going to make the pound cake and gt it frozen and get the chocolate ice cream frozen.  I have the mint chocolate chip in freezing right now.

Supper tonight is Spaghetti, Garlic bread, green salad, fruit, asparagus, and homemade ice cream for dessert.

Good Morning.  Haven't made it here to post the past couple of days.  I seem to be busy but can't tell you doing quite what.

We are off to Billings.  The cupboards are getting quite bare.  I don't mind the shopping so much putting it all away when we get home is the pits!

Not sure what supper will be.  Probably bring something home from Biilings.

Good Afternoon.  Went for a walk today.  It was amazing how much easier it was with my MP3 player.

We are supposed to get some snow today but haven't seen any so far.  I am hoping that it misses us.  I know that we won't be that lucky but I can hope.

For years I couldn't get a pic of Pooh and now every time I try to take her pic this is what she does.  Liitle imp!



Not much else going on.  Supper tonight is cube steak and gravy.

Good Morning.  It is nice here this morning.  I went for my walk.  it was really nice to get out again.  I need to get my MP3 player set up.  It really makes the time go faster.

Pooh got all of her chores done to pay off her bill so she can text again.  We were teasing her that she would have sprained thumbs before the day was over.

Got a bunch of stuff made and frozen yesterday.  Cream cheese chocolate pound cake, blueberry muffins, chocolate muffins, Triple berry pound cake,  2 batches of pizza crust run through the bread machine, and Kyra made three batches of chocolate chip cookies that we froze in two containers.  I didn't get the breakfast burritos made so I will have to get them done today.

Here is the latest flannel blanket and burp rags that I made.  these are for Kohl's old OT.  She was always talking about baby feet.  So when I saw this fabric I had to get it!

Not much else going on.  I need to get a few cleaning chores done and have Kyra vacuum.

Oh I forgot to mention here that Kirby got some air purifiers to see if it would help Kohl and me.  We haven't had them long enough to really tell but it will be interesting to see in the long run.  I have also starting taking some Stinging Nettle to see if I can cut down my reliance on Claritin in the summer.  I seem to be doing better but I am sure a lot of that is in my head.

Supper tonight is Porcupine meatballs over noodles, fruit, raw veggies, bread and cookies for dessert.

Good Morning!  We survived Easter.  Not that we did a lot.  The Easter bunny made his stop after he managed to get the calendar read right.  He brought candy and instead of baskets he brought something a little different for each of the kids.  Pooh got a purse, Kyra got a container for her comic books and Kohl got a bright red pail and yellow shovel.  That Easter Bunny has some pretty good ideas sometimes! 

Here are a couple of pics I took.  We have huge sandstone rocks all over on the place.  Kohl loves to crawl around on them like  jungle gym.  Some of them are pretty high and steep.  oof coiurse we don't play on them. 





Not much going on here.  I am getting some cooking done so I have things in the freezer for the kids for breakfast.  It makes all of our lives so much easier. 

The kids don't go back to school until tomorrow.  I gave Kohl and Kyra a break too.  they seemed like they needed it.

Supper tonight is BBQ Chicken and whatever else makes it to the table.

Good Morning!  Happy Spring.  Guess what it is doing here.  If you guessed snowing you are right.  Seems pretty much a tradition that is snows on the first day of spring around here.

Kohl is doing much better today.  He isn't as full of energy as he normally is but he can eat and not have it come back up.  I am feeling 3/4 human.  I am beginning to wonder if my sinuses were infected too.  I wasn't going to mention it because then it is just more for the visit.  I figured if they were the antibiotic would take care if it too!  LOL

Here are a couple of pics i took Sunday when we went to play on the rocks.  The last set we went to I didn't crawl up on.  they just looked a little too high for me with no balance.





Not much else going on.  I am hoping to get some Spring cleaning done over Easter break.  the kids are thrilled!  LOL

Supper tonight is the corned beef that didn't get cooked on St.  Patrick's day because of the wind for Kirby and me and Shepherd's pie for the kids.
