So I finally got out and got some pics of the new calves.  It was cold out so they weren't up and about much but I got some pics.





I was standing in a little pen taking pics and this little guy was really curious about what I was doing.  He kept coming around to look at me.  Mom wasn't really happy about it but she didn't try to eat me for supper or anything.  LOL



Supper tonight is sausage gravy and biscuits, eggs, and fruit.

Good Morning.  I went out yesterday and helped Kirby feed.  The hired man stayed to babysit 2 heifers that were caving.  I took lots and lots of pics but I will only torture you with a few at a time!  LOL

While Kirby was loading the trailer a few of the horses came over to investigate who or what I was.  Most of them were scared of me and the camera and stayed away.  About 3 of them came to get a few pets.  The one in the pics was the most persistent.  It is one of the hired man's horses and I remember his name.





Not much else going on.  Pooh has pep band for basketball tournaments this weekend.  Friday is a day off of school but with tournaments going on it won't feel like it!  LOL

Supper tonight is oven fried chicken, Peppy pasta , fruit, veggie and cupcakes for dessert.

Someone needs to remind these two they don't like each other.  Really what happened was Daisy sneaked up there when CP was asleep and CP didn't know she was there until I took the pic.  LOL

And so you know.  Lucky was done with his and Tiger wont sit with the rest of them to get her treats.  And Cranky Puddytat, CP, won't eat them at all.

Good Morning.  I keep meaning to get here and some how time just gets past me and I don't make it.

The heifers are home but no babies yet.    When they decide to come they will come all at once.  I guess that is better than having one or tow and then waiting a couple of days and having another one.  The guys might not agree though.

I have a grad party meeting tonight and then them Lodge grass game tomorrow.  That is the big rivalry in Hardin.  There are so many people that you can't even move.  I just sit at the table and sell tickets and don't move.

I had to check the calendar when I got home from the bus yesterday.  I couldn't believe how the water was running from it melting.  It wouldn't be bad if I didn't know we will go through it again before winter is over.







Supper tonight is Spaghetti for the Kirby, Pooh, Kyra and Kohl.  I am not sure what I will have since I am waiting in Hardin for the meeting since Kirby and I are going into Billings for the Company's taxes.

Good Morning!  I am dragging this morning.  Pooh's bus got in at about 1137.  She got the drum unloaded along with her suitcase and then had to wait for the guy's bus to come back and so they could unload the uniforms and hopefully have the guy drummers put the drums away since the room was locked.  Of course her the the other senior drummer where the only ones that put any of them away so so it was around 12:07 when we headed home.  And it is another hour home.  I feel old.  LOL

Not much else going on.  We are in Billings tomorrow and then I need to work the grad table for the basketball game.  Another long day.

In the last batch of chicks that we got we ended up with a rooster.  He is pretty but he is a little mixed up.  I have never heard him crow when the sun is coming up.  He just manages to crow all day long.  He isn't mean now and as long as he doesn't get that way he can stay.  Kirby says as long he he remembers that Kirby is top rooster the the rooster will be fine.!  LOL





I need to get some breakfast sandwiches made and think about something for dessert.  I don't have much ambition so we will see what I get done today.  I also need to get a set of burp rags done so I can give them to the gal that cuts my hair when Pooh and I go in for hair cuts on Friday.

Supper tonight is White Sauce Lasagna, bread, fruit, green salad, veggies, and something for dessert.

I just talked to Pooh.  She said things are going pretty good but she is tired.  That is pretty much how things go.  She will be really tired tomorrow.  The bus won't get home until around midnight and then we have an hour home.  She is tough though.  She will survive.

It is supposed to be in the high 50 today and almost 60 tomorrow.  It wouldn't be so bad if the snow would melt but it just gets icy and nasty.  And I am such a klutzy and I am dangerous.

Supper tonight is 10 Minute Fettuccine with chicken breast and whatever else makes it to the table.

I know these aren't pics of bringing the heifers home but some pics that Kyra took of the critters yesterday.  I came to them first.  LOL

Good Morning.  I survived bringing the heifers home  I even got some pics of them coming home and when the guys were feeding.  I just can't seem to get the ambition to get the fixed up to post them.  I promise it will get done. 

Pooh is in Glendive for 2 days for a a mass band thing.  She gets to be in the percussion ensemble this year so she was kind tof excited about that but she wasn't excited about staying overnight and being housed with Band families.  I told her she would survive and she told me she hoped that she did.

I broke down the other night and bought a Wii and a Wii fit.  My reasoning is that it is cheaper than a new piece of equipment.  I just hope that I am coordinated enough to use it.  LOL  It could be pretty comivcal for the people who live with me!

Not much else going on. 

Supper tonight is Taco Pasta salad.  I figure since Miss picky isn't here I will try it.
