Good Morning! I took some time off but I hope I am back now. It really hit that it might be the last Christmas Pooh was home and I just got in a funk. It has lifted and I think I am back.
I will give a quick update of what has happened.
We had to have Smokie, our 15 year old cat, put to sleep. He had pancreatic cancer and there was just nothing we do for him.
We found this little guy in the road.
Went to have him fixed and he died in the table. They did an autopsy and found out his heart was too big. It should have been the size of a ping pong ball and it was the size of a tennis ball. The cat had adopted Kyra so after he died the vet found us another cat. We brought her home yesterday. Kyra named her Daisy. We are hoping she will bond to Kyra and she will have a cat. As much as she loves cats she doesn't have on that she is human to.
Pooh finished herr first semester of he Senior year. I can't believe that it is half over.
I am working on the nonalcoholic party for graduation and that is becoming a bit of a pain. the president just quit coming to the meetings and wouldn't talk to anyone about it. Someone was supposed to visit with her about resigning or starting to run the meeting. I will find out about that tonight when I go in to work the table for the 50/50 raffle.
Heifers are coming home the weekend. It will be different with just Kirby and hired man checking. I told Kirby that I would check them while they feed. I can't pull them or anything but I can at least tell them when they starting calving so they can decide to pull it or wait to see if she has it.
I know there is more but I will save it for later.
Supper tonight is leftovers. I am working at the Senior grad table and Pooh is staying in to hang with some friends so I don't know what she will do. I am not sure what I am doing either.

Great to see you back - you were missed!! I'm sorry you lost Smokie and theother cat. I know Smokie had a good home for a long time and the other cat had a good home for a little while for sure. Daisy has beautiful markings. Kids sure to grow up fast don't they. It's hard. Hope things resolve with the president, sounds like a pain. {Hugs}
