Good Morning.  I made it back.  I bet you are surprised!  LOL

The guy is coming to finish painting the house today.  We let him com out and hunt pheasants and we bought the paint and he is painting the house.    Seems like a fair trade to me me.  Then the lady from the government department I can never think of is coming to look at us getting help for putting in a pipeline for some water.  Nothing ever happens and then everything happens at once!

I have a meeting for the grad party tomorrow night at 6.  They are hoping having the meeting 6 instead of 7 will help get more parents there.  I hate to sound pessimistic but I don't think it will help too much.  I hope I am wrong though.

Pooh has a cold and is feeling pretty crappy.  I told her that she isn't doing anything this weekend but I want everyone well for Thanksgiving.  Kyra told me that it is a tradition that someone is sick on Thanksgiving.  I informed her that we can break that tradition at any time.  LOL

We are looking into getting a big front load washer/ dryer.  Do any of you have any helpful hints for me?  Like what to look for in then and what you don't want.  TIA

Supper tonight is over fried Chicken, Peppy Pasta, fruit, salad, and leftover ice cream cake for dessert.

Things I have learned lately.

• Cats will vomit up Pineapple.  Who Knew?
• Sitting at a table at a bazaar for 7 hours will make you very tired and make your hips hurt like the dickens
• Making suggestions and opening your mouth too much at meetings gets you volunteering to sit at tables at bazaars for 7 hours.
• That 15 people planning a grad party for 102 graduates make a lot of work for the 15 people.
• Raising money for said party is a lot harder than you think.
• When is rains the end of October it takes forever to dry.
• The year has sped by  a fast and furious rate.
• When you are motivated 147 letters can be stuffed in envelopes, addressed and labeled in a day and a half.
• After Pooh goes on a band trip she ends up sick.
• It takes a lot of money to send a 66 piece band and chaperons to Washington DC for an Inaugural parade.
• It is hard to raise money when you don't know until the first part of December whether the band is going to the parade or not.
• The minimum needed would be $50,000.
• Just reading that amount makes me nervous.
• Thanksgiving is just around the corner.
• Kyra is now 15.  Where does time go?
• I feel old.

Those are just a few things that I have learned.  I need to be leaving to pick Pooh up from the bus.  So you are spared what else I have learned.

Supper tonight is Enchilada casserole.

People wonder why Pooh's sticks her tongue out every time I take her pic.  Might this be the reason?  LOL



At least she doesn't make the face!

Good Morning.  Off to Billings after a late night going in to get Pooh.  I let her stay in for an hour at the dance.  I am beat.  Too many late nights!

Good Morning!  I am tired and it is only Tuesday.  Pooh broke rules and lost her driving privileges for 2 months.  What was I thinking?  It is Homecoming week.  The only day she doesn't have to be in is Wednesday.   Last night she wanted to work on decorating halls, tonight was have to look at Senior pics and then the Bonfire is tonight.  They changed it from Wednesday to Tuesday so the band could be there.  The band director won't do anything on Wednesday because it is Church night. Thursday is the Homecoming volleyball game and Friday is the game.  I am tired typing it all out.

This is what I call a rodeo.  The cow decided she wasn't into getting her shots and being poured so she tried to bail.  It didn't work and she finally decided that it was best to stay where she was.  It sure was exciting for a while.

Supper for Kirby, Kyra, and Kohl is chuck steak in the crock with taters.  I don't know what Pooh will have.  I think I will get a salad at Subway.

Good Morning!  Monday, again!  I could have slept quite a bit more this morning. As it was I overslept.  Not a lot but enough to make me feel rushed.

Here is a pic of Pooh and Kyra chasing after the cows that decided to turn back and look for their babies.  I guess it was quite the job to get them all going the same way.  Kohl and I didn't stay for all of it.



Kyra was keeping a tally of the cows.  In this pic it looks to me like she and the cow are both looking to see what is going on and if the cows are ready to be let out.  And they both looked thrilled.



And here is Pooh.  I can't seem to get a pic of her when so isn't making a face or being silly. 



Supper tonight is Salmon, rice and a veggie.  Leftover cake is for dessert.

Good Morning!  We survived shipping and working the cows.  We are all exhausted but we survived.  Kyra and Kohl are trying to get the crud that Kirby and Pooh had last week.  I am hoping they can fight it off.  I don't want to deal with sick kids!

I know I am a little behind but here is a pic of Pooh's cake.  I ordered it over the the phone because I didn't end up in town when I thought I would.  It is a Baskin Robbins cake.  Pooh wanted chocolate cake with chocolate ice cream.  It was good but it was rich.



This is our new barn cat.  If I didn't already have 4 inside she would be an inside cat.  she is just as sweet as can be and a lover.  But alas, 4 is enough.  Her name is Oreo.



Kohl and I saw quite a sight on the way home yesterday.  We saw little puffs of dust coming up from the road and I couldn't figure out what the heck it was.  It finally ran off the road and stopped.  As I was stoppng I was shooting pics.  I know not really safe but out here you don't see much traffic.    He was really curious about what I was doing when I stopping.  He turned to run but after he decided that we weren't going to hurt him he stopped and let me take pics.  He was quite a photogenic little badger!  LOL



Pooh has a thing going on in town for Homecoming.  The Senior girls are decorating Tshirts.  I don't understand but whatever.  So Kirby is making BBQ Hamburgers for supper.

We shipped our steers today. is part of the day in pics.  I don't have
any pics of the semis coming in or the vet.  But di have a few of the
rest.

They are off and it was time to eat.  After I got everyone fed the kids and I came home.  they had a lot of work left to do.
